Description/Significance

JBS is serving as the owner’s representative for the renovation of 55 Mercer Street, a SOHO cast iron landmark. JBS is acting on behalf of the owner to oversee the interior and exterior design process, demolition, environmental abatement, permitting, ICIP and J-51 tax abatements, NYC Landmark Commission approvals, construction, marketing, and sell-out.

The redeveloped project will consist of a double height 6,000 SF retail space, and 4 ultra-luxury condominium units ranging from approximately 3,500SF to 4,500 SF each. Redevelopment will include the addition of a penthouse with full terrace, endless pool, and outdoor cooking area.
